Ireland, Christmas 1977

This is the first set of photographs I took that I thought were any good. It was about seven years after I got my first camera. I had a show of them on Columbus Avenue in NYC in 1981. The prints I made were dye transfers, of which very few survive. It cost me a fortune. The process no longer exists as far as I know. No one makes the materials anymore.
